Royal College Enhanced Skills Program in Palliative Care
The Division is excited to offer an opportunity for Royal College Specialty Program graduates to participate in Enhanced Skills training in Palliative Care. This flexible program, typically lasting three months, is open to physicians from any Royal College primary specialty who have completed their specialty or subspecialty training.
Interested candidates must secure external financial support from sources such as hospital foundations, health authorities, or similar organizations (self-funding is not permitted).
While administratively supported by the UBC Postgraduate Office, please note that this is an unaccredited program and does not lead to certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The program is designed to help BC specialists enhance their ability to deliver a palliative approach to care within their primary specialty and/or improve access to palliative care in underserved regions of BC.
