Faculty Spotlight: Dr. Pablo Amigo

By Stephanie Milne on June 17, 2022

It’s a busy season at the DOPC Education Office with the graduation of the current cohort of residents and the welcoming of the incoming class! But it’s that time again our Faculty Spotlight. Today’s features Dr. Pablo Amigo. I really like learning about fellow Division members across the province. Keep reading to learn more.

  1. Dr. Pablo Amigo in the foreground and a beautiful forested background.

    Site: Kelowna

  2. Best part of my job: Having the privilege of taking care of patients and their families at a very difficult time in their lives.
  3. Song: Man in the Rain, Mike Oldfield.
  4. Past time: Totally addicted to golf!
  5. Restaurant: Any good steak house! The Keg is one of my favorites…..
  6. Book: “Being Mortal” by Atul Gawande.
  7. Creating: Hopefully a better experience for palliative patients and their families in Kelowna and helping develop the next generation of doctors caring for these patients!
  8. 8. Advice: Pace yourself, it’s a marathon, not a sprint!! Learn to say “No, thank you” when they want you to do more and more things!!
