Congratulations to Dr. Pippa Hawley, our past Division Head, who has been awarded the peer-nominated Canadian Society of Palliative Care Physician’s Eduardo Bruera Award in Palliative Medicine. This award is given annually to a physician who demonstrates excellence in the field of Palliative Medicine as recognized by his or her peers. And this year it focused on clinical excellence.
The award will be presented at the Advanced Learning in Palliative Medicine Conference on May 4th.
In addition, Dr. Hawley, Dr. Charlie Chen and Dr. Wenna Deng are also presenting at the conference. Dr. Charlie Chen is our former Program Director and Dr. Wenna Deng is one of our incoming Palliative Care residents!
